Havana Cigars
In his numerous works, internationally acclaimed photographer Michael Eastman often focuses on the facades and interiors of the world’s cities, such as Paris, Rome, and New Orleans. In this book he explores the houses and streets of Havana. Nearly one hundred photographs from the past two decades reveal a world where triumphant past and vanquished present collide.
Painterly in quality, these richly colored photographs are dramatically lit and exquisitely detailed. Though mostly devoid of people, they manage to capture contemporary Cuban life through suggestion: an empty chair, an ancient car, a decrepit hallway, a forgotten chandelier. The result is as eloquent as a love poem written to a city rich in history, culture, and feeling.

bringing it to life
Internationally acclaimed photographer Michael Eastman captures Havana with a painterly eye, revealing streets, interiors, and fleeting details that suggest the pulse of contemporary Cuban life. Empty chairs, vintage cars, crumbling facades, and forgotten chandeliers tell a story of triumph and decay, of past and present colliding. These images inspired us to create a cigar experience that does the same: to let each product evoke a narrative, not just a flavor.
Our Solution: Havana Cigars bring that depth to life. Each cigar is crafted with precision, celebrating Cuban tradition while delivering modern refinement. Lighting a Havana is more than smoking—it’s an invitation to slow down, appreciate artistry, and connect with history. Whether paired with conversation, cocktails, or quiet reflection, the cigars serve as a portal to a world of culture, craft, and story.
