Before “modern speakeasies” became a thing, you entered through an unmarked, dimly lit door, just east of Brennan’s front door. “Back out this door, take a left, look for the red door on your left, and take that up the stairs,” was the only way we marketed it.

After a move, a fire and the pandemic, we successfully completed rebuilding Brennan’s just around the corner. And now that we’re able to see a little sunshine on the horizon, we’ve been busy reimagining the look and feel for the new Maryland House at 44 Maryland Plaza, up top in the old Mandarin Lounge space. Opening in April of 2023, our rooftop lounge and event space offers delicious food, inventive cocktails, and a curated art gallery and events space like no other.
